This book was constructed by utilizing a found book, Passionate Paradox, and sewing scenes of stereotypical women within the pages that correspond with the chapters. The women don’t have faces diluting individuality. Buttons were glued onto words which women tend to hide from or are afraid to talk about or show, words such as; fight, sex, birth control etc.. The pages are sewn together to symbolize the boundaries of women’s roles that society has put in place. The word "equal" is punched in pages using a sewing needle as if pricking the surface but never fully being; equal on the past page is reflected as a flipped representation of what equal means. Iconic objects associated with women are illustrated in pairs creating equal signs and are sewn to the book with fragile black string hidden by the black cover. This is a commentary on women as a whole.
